Ne me console pas. Cela est inutile.
Si mes rêves qui étaient ma seule fortune
quittent mon seuil obscur où s’accroupit la brume
je saurai me résoudre et saurai ne rien dire.

Un jour, tout simplement (ne me console pas !)
devant ma porte ensoleillée je m’étendrai.
On dira aux enfants qu’il faut parler plus bas.
Et, délaissé de ma tristesse, je mourrai.
