Pour me croire épier 

Par ce flux plus qu'étrange,

Un tisserin doué,

Un esprit ou un ange,

 

Il suffit d'un baiser,

Un baiser sur ma bouche,

Un petit être né 

De tes lèvres farouches.

Qui titille et s'envole 

Au feuillage emmêlé 

De lianes créoles. 

 

Le sentir égrainer 

L'épi de blé en fête,

Quand l'aurore est poudrée 

Et la brise en nuisette.

Comme le tien, ma douce,

Qui aguiche le gué

En cajolant les mousses,

 

Près des sources nacrées 

D'où il pêche et s'arrose 

Écumant notre été 

D'une épuisette rose.
