Des coups de feu dans le lointain,

Les grandes corneilles qui grincent

Dans la piscine du silence.

Tu marches seul. C’est le matin.

Dans le jardin, deux tourterelles,

Une grive, très peu de vent ;

Le chat écoute, vigilant,

Le pigeon et sa ritournelle.

Rien d’anormal, ni de nouveau ;

C’est un matin et c’est dimanche.

Le soleil remonte ses manches

Pour une journée de travaux ;

Déjà, il a repeint en parme

Tes états d’âme et l’horizon.

C’est le matin, une chanson

Fait son chemin parmi les larmes.
